The weight of a Mass is a beautiful book based on a true miracle. A poor widow asks for a scrap of bread from a wealthy baker, and offers to offer her Mass that day for him. He, trying to prove how little the Mass intention really is, buts a scrap of paper with the words one Mass on his scale, but know matter how many of his best and most expensive goods he puts on the other side they will not equal the Mass. A delightful and well told children’s book with great illustrations. Almost brand new-no sign of wear. |
